Darek Chwiejczak, 1963, married, three children, lives in Warsaw, Poland. Graduated from Warsaw Technical University, awarded with 2nd Best Master Thesis of the Year at Electrical Engineering. Senior business leader with 24 years of experience in the IT Industry, mostly at US based companies: Managing Director Apple Computer IMC, Country Manager Cisco Systems, VP Sales Sygnity, Eastern Europe Director SimpliVity. Has gained recognition for his acumen from prestigious publications, including the Harvard Business Review and Forbes.
His family’s passion for a long time was exploring historical (monumental) palaces of Europe. Eventually, in 2005, the family has decided to make their dream come true and to restore the spirit and magnificence of a forgotten century-old palace. Five years of consistent effort resulted in the Ministry of National Heritage Award for renovation of a completely ruined Zdunowo Palace, where a conference and wedding venue is located today - www.PalacZdunowo.pl
Leadership and talent development are among Darek’s strongest assets. He has been running a series of personal development workshops for 2 years, with much success. ‘I’ can do anything was written in 2004, originally for author’s children, as a guide through a happy and successful life. Because of a substantial professional workload the book was being written for 500 days, every single morning from 5am to 7am. Even though the book was aimed towards teenagers, adults have proven to be as equally active of readers, giving the book exceptionally warm feedback: ‘This book helps to become a better person’.
